Measurement and control system of an air-ground heat exchanger

Diploma thesis deals with design of measurement and control system of an air-ground heat exchanger, which is placed in area of FME BUT in Brno. System is built in development environment LabVIEW and it is using modules CompactDAQ from National Instrument. Developed system managed trial operation, during which was designed additional changes of measurement equipment for determine another magnitudes, which help us with future evaluation of benefit of air-ground heating exchanger. It was designed some operational modes, which solve different ways of control air-ground heat exchanger.

The master’s thesis focuses on the development of household device which allows the user not only to measure quality and properties of air in individual rooms but also allows graphical display of measured values via wireless transmission. The work first deals with selection of a suitable microcontroller and then the wireless communications and used peripherals are briefly described. Furthemore, the work deals with the design of the device itself, its hardware and software equipment, as well as its construction. The financial costs are also analyzed in this work. Part of the work is the final testing of the completed equipment for measuring in two rooms of a residential house.
